The package sender in the name of à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã‹Å"R.Masonà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ intended the delivery to be made to L.Topin living in 21 Standish Avenue, in Massachusetts. The employees on duty decided to input the hand written label and produce a printed replica that turned out to be an incorrect address hence after shipping the package ended up in the plaintiffà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬s home address. The Plaintiffà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬s daughter ended up opening the delivery and it turned out that it contained to be two packages of marijuana. The plaintiff reported the issue to the police fearing that the owner of the package might try tracking the package threatening her safety and that of her children. To confirm her fears the owner of the package called FedEx and obtained the address where the package was delivered to and the plaintiffà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬s address disclosed. The man shows up at the plaintiffà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬s residence with two men and asks if she received the package, the action raised anxiety and fear for the plaintiff and her family.Issue:The issue at hand is to determine if there was a violation of the plaintiffà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬s preemptive rights under the common law.
